Hast­ings House has been devel­oped with hol­i­day­mak­ers in mind, offer­ing 5 bed­rooms, all of which can be super king size dou­bles or twins, pro­vid­ing very flex­i­ble accom­mo­da­tion for fam­i­lies or groups wish­ing to stay togeth­er. There are also 5 bath­rooms — 3 en-suites, and 2 fam­i­ly bath­rooms, mean­ing that all 5 bed­rooms have their own facil­i­ties. 3 of the bed­rooms are on the ground floor and 2 on the first. 

The ground floor also has a large kitchen/​dining area with patio doors lead­ing out to the large deck with 6 per­son cedar hot tub. The first floor has the spa­cious sit­ting room with large win­dows afford­ing open views over the fields towards the sea.

Spe­cial Features

All bed­rooms have use of a show­er or bath­room each. Prop­er­ty boasts a cedar Hot Tub on deck.

Indoors

Hast­ings House has a large kitchen which has been equipped to cater for the larg­er groups, so large pans, loads of serv­ing dish­es, good stor­age and din­ing crock­ery, cut­lery and glass­es for every occa­sion. Upstairs, the large lounge area can accom­mo­date every­one; there are 2 mul­ti dig­i­tal chan­nel tv’s (wall mount­ed) one upstairs and one down­stairs with Net­flix, Ama­zon Prime, Iplay­er and much more. Also a DVD play­er , Playsta­tion and Wii, plus the games room in the garage. Each bed­room also has a small ana­logue TV.

Cen­tral heat­ing is room con­trolled with some voice con­trolled from the Alexa, down­stairs is ful­ly under­floor heat­ed, whilst upstairs the bath­rooms are too, and there is a wood burn­er in the lounge and din­ing room.

We con­tin­ue to do our bit for the envi­ron­ment with Solar heat­ed hot water, eco friend­ly light­ing, com­post­ing etc.

Out­doors

Pri­vate enclosed court­yard, dec­o­rat­ed with bed­ding plants or pots, tables and chairs and bar­be­cue, laid to a com­bi­na­tion of flags, stone flags and grav­el. Wheel­chair access avail­able. Hast­ings House has a state of the art Cedar cir­cu­lar hot tub on the deck, and a huge out­side chess set which dou­bles as a flag­stone ​“play” area for kids, ide­al for toy cars, and oth­er activ­i­ties requir­ing a large flat sur­face area.

Local Area

North Sun­der­land is a qui­et inland exten­sion to the vil­lage of Sea­hous­es on the North Northum­ber­land Coast. The house is with­in an easy walk of shops, tra­di­tion­al butch­er, bak­er and co-op super­mar­ket, plus a num­ber of spe­cial­ist shops and tourist ameni­ties. The area is well served for the out­door enthu­si­ast, Rid­ing sta­bles are just across the lane, the busy Har­bour pro­vides boat launch facil­i­ties and for the nature enthu­si­ast boats depart here for the Farne Islands Bird and Seal sanc­tu­ary. Golfers have choice of two 18 hole cours­es with­in 3 miles. and sev­er­al more a short car jour­ney away. Alnwick Cas­tle and Gar­dens are 15 miles south, the beau­ti­ful beach­es stretch south to Dun­stan­burgh and beyond, and North to the won­der­ful Cas­tle at Bam­burgh (3 miles) and up to Holy Island of Lind­is­farne (15 miles).
