Quiet and peaceful, perfect for walkers, photographers & wildlife enthusiasts yet only ten minutes drive from the pretty seaside village of Cemaes Bay with shops, pubs and the local fishing boats with fabulous shellfish to collect for supper. The Kitchen
The Kitchen combines both farmhouse charm with period detailing to provide a traditional cooking space with all modern comforts. The dual fuel range cooker combines the efficiency of two fan ovens with the convenience of a 5 point gas hob. The kitchen is equipped with two dishwashers, two integrated under counter fridges and a larder fridge.
The breakfast table seats up to six in a bay window which commands stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Sliding doors in the bay window open out onto the front slate patio and lawn offering alfresco dining options for sunny summer days.
The Utility is well equipped with a large double sink, wine fridge, freezer and an additional oven.
The Snug
The Snug is a cosy period sitting room through double glass doors off the kitchen. The bay window provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside and floods the room with natural light. With seating for seven on comfy leather sofas, a variety of books and a flat screen smart TV, the snug is the ideal room for chatting and relaxing in front of the open fire.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room is the party room of the house with huge chunky oak tables to seat up to twenty, an open fire, heated oak floor and three bay windows with fantastic elevated views of the Dinas Gynfor headland. The beautiful period detailing in the coving & ceiling roses combined with the high ceiling gives a real sense of space to relax, laugh and enjoy good company over a delicious meal.
A bar is located at one end of the dining room and is well stocked with glasses from champagne flutes to whisky tumblers. The oak bar is very practical with an integrated dishwasher, drinks fridge with ice box and bar sink all hidden within a period oak dresser. The bar area also has a lounge space with tub chairs, ideal for card games or cocktail tasting. At the end of a sunny day step through the huge glass doors onto the slate patios and take a five minute stroll down the garden to the cove for sundowners on the beach.
The Lounge
The Lounge offers a large comfortable space for everyone to relax together. The double doors open onto the wrap around terrace with stunning views over the gardens and surrounding countryside. With seating for 14 on our large comfy leather sofas, a selection of games and a 42 inch flat screen smart TV the lounge is the ideal room for some family time watching a film, playing games, or simply chatting and relaxing in comfort.
The games room
The Games Room is on the first floor with a balcony enjoying stunning views over the countryside. Kick back and play a game of pool on our slate bed pool table or quicken the pace with some table football. Our games room offers something for everybody to enjoy!
The Boot Room
Convenient utility space housing the washing machine and tumble dryer with large double utility sink. With no shortage of coat hooks and boot space and accessed via the back door it makes an ideal place for drying wet or muddy clothes and boots after a walk. The underfloor heating makes it a perfect space for dogs to bed down in comfort and warmth.
Bedrooms
Five of our bedrooms are zip and link so can be made up as either twins or superking rooms.
With ten luxury bedrooms in total — no-one will be fighting over the best room here!
Outdoors
Enjoy a BBQ either on one of the slate patios around the house or down at the cove with the wonderful summer sunsets. The welsh slate warms up beautifully in the summer sun and with 3 huge patios to choose from you can be sure of finding the perfect spot for an afternoon pimms.
There is ample outside garden furniture from benches with cushions to the 20 person dining table & parasols. Over 1.5 acres of garden to relax in and plenty of outdoor games such as croquet, Giant Jenga & boules for the more energetic.
To keep the little ones busy we have the garden play area complete with our hidden tree house, sailing boat sand pit and swing set complete with nest swing.
There is an EV charging point just outside the boot room so your electric vehicle can be fully charged ready to take you on your next adventure.
