The Gra­nary barn which sleeps 16⁄18, plus 7 cot­tages sleep­ing 4 to 8 are sit­u­at­ed in our farm­yard on the edge of the New For­est, a superb fam­i­ly hol­i­day des­ti­na­tion. The Gra­nary has its own gar­den with panoram­ic views of the New For­est and Avon Val­ley. Each cot­tage is self con­tained and ful­ly equipped with a pri­vate bbq area with tables, chairs etc.

Indoors

The cot­tages sleep from 4 to 8. They have open plan liv­ing and din­ing areas with new ful­ly equipped kitchens.
The Gra­nary sleeps 16(+2) in 2 dou­bles, 4 twins and a gallery which can be set up as 2 more twin bed­ded rooms giv­ing you 8 bed­rooms in all. There is also a dou­ble sofabed in the liv­ing area. There are 6 bath/​shower rooms. The din­ing tables can be set up to seat any num­ber from 20 to 48+, there are 5 large sofas. 

Mal­lard sleeps 6(+2) in 1 dou­ble, 2 twins and has 1 bath­room and 1 show­er room. Grebe Cot­tage sleeps 4 in 1 dou­ble, 1 twin and 1 show­er room. King­fish­er, Teal, Swan and Heron each sleep 4 (+2) in 1 dou­ble and 1 twin and have 1 show­er room each. Any (+2) denotes extra sleep­ing capac­i­ty on sofa beds in lounges.

Each of the cot­tages con­tain: Elec­tric cook­er, dish­wash­er, wash­ing machine, fridge/​freezer, microwave, free­view, 2 sofa’s, DVD and tele­vi­sion. All of the cot­tages have elec­tric heat­ing and at least one show­er room with basin and WC. Elec­tric­i­ty, duvets and linen are includ­ed. Tow­els are includ­ed in the Gra­nary. High chairs and cots are avail­able on request and all of the cot­tages are non smoking.

Out­doors

The Gra­nary Barn and cot­tages are in our farm­yard on the edge of the New For­est. The Gra­nary has a large gar­den with gar­den tables to seat 48+ and has panoram­ic views of the New For­est and Avon Val­ley. The cot­tages each have patios with tables, chairs, bbqs etc. The shared games barn con­tains 2 pool tables, 2 table ten­nis tables, soft ten­nis, table foot­ball and a wendy house. Park­ing is avail­able for approx 30+ cars.

Local Area

There are foot paths which lead direct­ly into The New For­est from The Gra­nary and the cot­tages. The small town of Ford­ing­bridge is only 1 mile away with lots of shops, pubs and restau­rants. There are many foot/​cycle paths, excel­lent horse rid­ing and numer­ous pubs and restau­rants to vis­it local­ly. There are many attrac­tions with­in easy reach such as Sal­is­bury Cathe­dral, Stone­henge, Beaulieu Abbey, Nation­al Motor Muse­um, Go-Ape, Roy­al Navy Muse­um at Portsmouth — Nel­son’s Ship Vic­to­ry and the Mary Rose. Only 3 miles away is the New For­est Water Park and fur­ther afield there are also many beach resorts includ­ing Bournemouth, Stud­land and famous yacht­ing havens such as Lymington.
