Large atmos­pher­ic hol­i­day house in the heart of Aber­gaven­ny — sleeps 12 – 24

10 min­utes from the heart of this his­toric Welsh mar­ket town, Gate­way to the Bre­con Bea­con. Fair­lea Grange com­fort­ably accom­mo­dates 24 peo­ple. Fair­lea is in a res­i­den­tial area so it’s not a ​“Par­ty House” and though we want peo­ple to enjoy them­selves we do not wel­come rau­cous groups.

Fair­lea Grange has every­thing for a week­end or week stay: 9 large bed­rooms (3 fam­i­ly rooms, 5 dou­bles and a twin) either with en suite or adja­cent bath­room, plus two addi­tion­al fam­i­ly bath­rooms, three lounges one with large wood burn­ing stove, 2 big TVs with Sky, a well equipped kitchen (with an Aga too), a large sun filled, atmos­pher­ic din­ing room with an attached annexe for the kids should you wish to dine them sep­a­rate­ly, plus a sauna, sun lounge, mini-gym and small games room.

Out­side in the large walled gar­den there’s lawns for games, a hot tub, patio with bar­be­cue area and out­door fur­ni­ture, and ample park­ing for 6 cars in the dri­ve and plen­ty of addi­tion­al on street parking.

With the Grange being locat­ed in the heart of this won­der­ful mar­ket town, with its leg­endary Food Fes­ti­val, you won’t be bored for a minute. If you want a hol­i­day indoors catch­ing up with fam­i­ly and friends it’s per­fect: so much space on site and so much to do you need nev­er leave (and if you do, imag­ine com­ing home to the sauna and hot tub — won­der­ful). How­ev­er, if you’re active and want to be out and about, it’s equal­ly good: the Bre­con Bea­cons are right on the doorstep for amaz­ing walk­ing, or you can spend time in town sam­pling the mar­ket, muse­um, cas­tle, shop­ping, vine­yard, climb­ing cen­tre, Hid­den Gar­den, cin­e­ma, the­atre.….….. the list goes on. Ample pubs and restau­rants with­in walk­ing dis­tance — no need for a des­ig­nat­ed dri­ver here.

Fair­lea Grange is the per­fect choice for walk­ers, food­ies, fam­i­lies, and friends and once you’ve been you’ll want to return time and again. Croe­so i Gym­ru as we say round here (Wel­come to Wales!).
