Two prop­er­ties on the same site, avail­able to a group of up to 47 guests. Dovedale Manor is a 13 bed en-suite prop­er­ty for up to 38 guests and The Coach House at Dovedale Manor is a 4 bed for up to 9 guests.

The prop­er­ties are locat­ed a short walk from the pic­turesque vil­lage of Tiss­ing­ton, at the doorstep to Dovedale Nature reserve with­in The Peak Dis­trict Nation­al Park.

Spe­cial Features

The prop­er­ties are in a pri­vate gat­ed com­plex and have a a games room/​bar that comes with a darts board, a chil­dren’s play frame, all required culi­nary equip­ment and eat­ing uten­sils. There is ample free parking.

Indoors

The prop­er­ties liv­ing rooms are bright, open and pro­vide great spaces for enter­tain­ing large groups. There are 7 sofas in The Manor’s liv­ing room and 3 in The Coach House. Both prop­er­ties have flat screen smart TVs in the liv­ing rooms and both have under­floor heat­ing. Dovedale Manor has two air con­di­tion­ing units in the ceil­ing that pro­vide hot or cold air.

Dovedale Manor has 13 bed­rooms all of which have pri­vate en-suite bath­rooms. The Coach House has 4 bed­rooms, 3 of which are en-suite. Com­bined the bed­rooms offer a com­bi­na­tion of show­ers and/​or baths and all have king sized beds. Fresh linen and tow­els are pro­vid­ed. Most of the rooms have flex­i­ble bed set ups, such as twins/​doubles to suit dif­fer­ing group requirements. 

There is a wet room suit­able for guests with dis­abil­i­ties in bed­room 8 of The Manor, and bed­room 2 in The Coach House.

Local Area

Set with­in The Peak Dis­trict Nation­al Park the first Nation­al Park in Britain, there­fore retains its beau­ty. The clos­est vil­lage is Tiss­ing­ton approx­i­mate­ly a 15 minute walk away, this pic­turesque vil­lage, named after the spec­tac­u­lar Jacobean Tiss­ing­ton Hall. Have break­fast or lunch in the Halls tea room. The vil­lage itself has a butch­er and quaint Eng­lish Sweet Shop.

Ash­bourne, the near­est large town about a 10 minute dri­ve away, has plen­ty of pubs, restau­rants and shops includ­ing two supermarkets.

Oth­er rec­om­mend­ed towns and vil­lages to vis­it close by are; Ilam, Mill­dale, Alstone­field and Parwich.

Dovedale Nation­al Park, one the Sev­en Nat­ur­al Won­ders of the UK is with­in walk­ing dis­tance where you can have a day relax­ing by the riv­er and cross­ing The Step­ping Stones or hik­ing Thorp Cloud mountain.

20 min­utes away is Cars­ing­ton Water, a reser­voir open to the pub­lic with many water based activ­i­ties available.
