Groups of com­fort­able, char­ac­ter­ful self-cater­ing cot­tages to sleep indi­vid­u­al­ly 2, 3, 4⁄9 or 12 or in com­bi­na­tions to suit var­i­ous num­bers up to 49 (max 54 with futons), for fam­i­ly, friends, spe­cial activ­i­ties & cor­po­ra­tions. A large Par­ty/​Dining Room is includ­ed when the West Wing group is booked to seat 40+. Or, for the Walk Farm House group to sleep in total 27 – 30, the two largest hous­es in the mid­dle can be opened through on the ground floor togeth­er giv­ing you a run of 4 spa­cious recep­tion rooms use­ful for par­ties. Ample off road park­ing for every property.

All prop­er­ties are very ful­ly equipped, com­fort­able and wel­com­ing. Many of the prop­er­ties have a rich his­to­ry, with Whit­min­ster House itself dat­ing back to the 12th Century.

Locat­ed in beau­ti­ful coun­try­side beside the Stroud­wa­ter and Glouces­ter/​Sharp­ness canals near a wide choice of attrac­tive places to vis­it & activ­i­ties to enjoy. Many sug­gest­ed on our web­site; e.g. Slim­bridge Wild­fowl Trust, Glouces­ter Cathe­dral, Wood­ch­ester Val­ley Vine­yard, Berke­ley Cas­tle, Rug­by at Glouces­ter, Rac­ing at Chel­tenham all year round, and many spe­cial activ­i­ties for adults, chil­dren, stags or hens can be hired in.

WALK COT­TAGE sleeps 3 in two bed­rooms (1 dou­ble, 1 single)
WALK CLOSE sleeps 3 in two bed­rooms (1 dou­ble, 1 sin­gle) is suit­able for accom­pa­nied dis­abled or elder­ly guests all on the ground floor, & wheel-in show­er etc.
Walk Farm­house & Walk House can be opened through to give a run of 4 spa­cious recep­tion rooms for parties.

The WEST WING in the his­toric Manor House sleeps 12 in six bed­rooms (4 dou­ble, 2 twin) a maisonette apart­ment on two floors with its own pri­vate staircase.

The OLD STA­BLES sleeps 4 – 6* in two bed­rooms (2 dou­ble, + 2 x sin­gle guest beds* if required in the upstairs sit­ting room) and access to the Par­ty Room.
The LODGE sleeps 4 in two bed­rooms (1 dou­ble, 1 twin)

The West Wing and Old Sta­bles are not suit­able for unsu­per­vised small chil­dren owing to the high stair­case in the West Wing and riv­er at the end of the Old Sta­bles garden.

All prop­er­ties have ful­­ly-equipped kitchens, charm­ing sit­ting rooms, some have sep­a­rate din­ing rooms, and a range of bath­rooms and show­er rooms.

Out­doors

A pic­turesque small pri­vate Eng­lish Coun­try Estate beside the Stroud­wa­ter and Gloucester/​Sharpness Canals and near the his­toric vil­lage of Framp­ton-on-Sev­ern, on the Cotswold Edge/​Severn Vale in Glouces­ter­shire. Beau­ti­ful walks are avail­able direct from your cot­tage door, and sev­er­al pubs/​restaurants with­in walk­ing distance.

All the Cot­tages have gar­dens, out­door gar­den fur­ni­ture. and ample off-road park­ing. The largest cot­tages have under­cov­er BBQs & out­side con­nec­tions for elec­tric­i­ty and water to hire in Hot Tubs etc.

Locat­ed in the peace­ful old­er part of Whit­min­ster now re-named Wheat­en­hurst (the orig­i­nal name for the area) beside Whit­min­ster Church, Whit­min­ster House Self-Cater­ing cot­tages are with­in easy walk­ing & dri­ving dis­tance of many var­ied activ­i­ties and inter­ests. The near­est Pub/​Restaurant is under a mile, and a new restau­rant has just opened beside Saul Junc­tion Mari­na, even clos­er. Free coarse fish­ing is avail­able on the Estate if desired, and there are lots of love­ly walks through the water­mead­ows, along­side the canals or beside the Riv­er Frome.
