A unique self catering group venue perfect for large groups, sleeping from 24 – 34
Great Location for visiting Alton Towers and Peak District
Stunning unique self catering group venue perfect for large groups, sleeping from 24 – 34 people. Guests have exclusive use of their own converted pub! We have renovated The Green Man from a pub to create a very different self catering venue which is a similar concept to our ever popular property called The Crewe & Harpur .
We also know that one of the most important aspect of a group booking is to be able to comfortably dine and socialise together and the spacious dining room meets these requirement easily also offering flexible layouts depending on guest numbers.
We have fitted a designer fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, American fridge/freezer and all mod cons and equipment so you can easily cater for large groups.
There is so much communal space for you to enjoy large social gatherings and for added entertainment we have added a 72 inch flat screen TV, games room with pool table and dart board.
We know that all groups have different needs and therefore we have designed The Green Man to offer flexible accommodation for groups of 24 to 34 guests (you can actually sleep up to 40 if you wish). There are 13 spacious bedrooms one of which is a room with bunk beds and is slighly more compact. All bedrooms will be designed and individually decorated. There are plenty of recently fitted bathrooms/en suites too.
The Green Man is located on the southern tip of the Peak District with brilliant access, within 10 minutes drive to Alton Towers, Dovedale, Ashbourne, Leek, Uttoxeter Races, Illam and Hartington.
Outside there is a patio with BBQ area, a private garden and ample parking.
Many of the Shower rooms are en suite
The property is so spacious with lots of communal space - very deceptive!
A terrace area leads out from the dining room. There is a large lawned garden with BBQ. There is a large car park with ample private parking.
The rich diversity of the scenery has been attracting visitors to Derbyshire and the Peak District for many centuries, so much so that The Peak National Park is the second most visited Park in the World. But, it is not just for not just for the beauty of its landscapes that people come.
There are many treasures to be found in the area the grandest of which is Chatsworth House, set in beautiful parkland it attracts visitors from all over the world.
Theme parks such as Alton Towers (just 7.5 miles away from The Green Man) that provide enough excitement even for the most ardent fun seeker, show caverns, an owl and otter sanctuary, interesting museums and ancient castles are just a small part of the regions attractions.
The Peak District offers enchanting villages, historic towns such as Buxton, Ashbourne, Leek and Bakewell and glorious ever changing landscapes are all close by. Perhaps best known as walking country, the Peak District National Park offers a spectacular variety of scenery and routes to be explored – from steep sided limestone dales to the dramatic high moorlands.
