Lux­u­ry self cater­ing hol­i­day cot­tages in the heart of the Peak Dis­trict. Ide­al for large groups and indi­vid­ual par­ties alike. Hurd­low Grange is a group of lux­u­ry farm­hous­es and barns that can sleep any com­bi­na­tion of peo­ple up to 44. They have been con­vert­ed to an excep­tion­al stan­dard mix­ing con­tem­po­rary style with tra­di­tion­al build­ings and fea­tures. All locat­ed around a cen­tral court­yard they have been designed to be equal­ly good for small groups tak­ing over one of the prop­er­ties or a big par­ty enjoy­ing all the prop­er­ties exclu­sive­ly. For large groups both Cruck­’d Barn and Bats Bel­fry have huge open plan dining/​living areas that every­one can dine and socialise in. It is pos­si­ble for large groups to dine together. 

Indoors

Locat­ed around a cen­tral court­yard the prop­er­ties have been designed to offer com­plete­ly flex­i­ble accom­mo­da­tion depend­ing on the size of your par­ty and been con­vert­ed to an excep­tion­al­ly high stan­dard, ooz­ing char­ac­ter and orig­i­nal charm. Beau­ti­ful cruck beams have been pre­served and fab­rics and fur­nish­ings have been care­ful­ly coor­di­nat­ed throughout.

Out­doors

Hurd­low Grange is over 300 years old and is locat­ed on the his­toric site of Hurd­low Vil­lage known to pre-date 1244. The farm­house and the barns were orig­i­nal­ly work­ing build­ings and ooze char­ac­ter, with orig­i­nal fea­tures pre­served where pos­si­ble and fab­ric and fur­nish­ings care­ful­ly coor­di­nat­ed through­out. Five acres of gar­dens and grounds sur­round the prop­er­ty with some excel­lent walk­ing from out­side your front door. Each prop­er­ty has its own patio and or gar­den area to sit out and enjoy the loca­tion. Locat­ed at the start of The Tiss­ing­ton Trail — some excel­lent walk­ing from out­side your front door as well as in near­by Dovedale and the Man­i­fold Val­leys. 10 min­utes dri­ve from both Bakewell and Bux­ton, 15 min­utes from Ash­bourne, it offers easy access to the many attrac­tions the area has to offer in both the Dark and White Peak.
