The property has been completely renovated by skilled master-craftsmen, using the best traditional techniques. THE BEDROOMS: There are six bedrooms which are all en-suite. They are all beautifully appointed with co-ordinated fabrics and oak doors, floors and skirting. The beds are all 6 ft doubles or 3ft twins, with the flexibility to have either doubles or twins in any room to accommodate your group in the most comfortable layout. Two of the bedrooms have an additional bed for you to accommodate larger groups.
THE BATHROOMS: In addition to the 6 en-suite bathrooms (five with showers and one with a bath), there are additional separate shower and toilet facilities on the ground floor to avoid anyone having to wait - we have tried to think of everything.
THE RECEPTION ROOM: This is a very large dining / sitting room with a traditional oak floor and is over 55 square metres or 600 square feet. It is a fantastic family room but can also be used for larger dinners or meetings. A large solid oak dining table looks out onto your own private enclosed courtyard which is beautifully lit in the evenings. The easy chairs and sofas look out over the secluded patio and the private garden beyond, leading to fields and trees and sometimes early in the morning deer appearing out of the wood.
Toad Hall is the ideal venue for that special dinner and can accommodate very large groups of up to 28 people for dinner. Why not let our chef cook for you? (See our Additional Guest Services page on our website for more details).
KITCHEN: This is a fully equipped, modern fitted kitchen. It has a large electric range cooker, dishwasher, large fridge, a separate freezer and a washer / dryer. It has everything you need to help prepare that special meal.
GENERAL: Heating, fuel, linen, towels and some basic supplies are included in the rental and we also provide a welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and a home baked cake for your arrival.
