This is a won­der­ful­ly char­ac­ter­ful 16th Cen­tu­ry Ken­tish Weath­er-board­ed Lodge sit­u­at­ed in the heart of a love­ly vil­lage just a few min­utes dri­ve from the port of Dover.
With nine ensuite bed­rooms and large enter­tain­ing space as well as its own pent­house apart­ment, it is one of the areas most sought after places to stay.
Only a few min­utes walk from the beach at St. Margaret’s Bay and just along the coast from the vibrant coastal town of Deal.

Indoors

In the stone-floored lounge there is a love­ly old piano in the snug with plen­ty of com­fy seat­ing, there’s also a log fire and exposed beam ceilings.

Bar
The beau­ti­ful hard­wood bar is kit­ted out with beer and wine fridges a cold store and glass wash­er. There’s a wood-burn­ing stove to cosy around in win­ter and in sum­mer open up the doors to the gar­den out back for per­fect sum­mer living.

Din­ing Room
With seat­ing for up to 20 peo­ple the din­ing room has a num­ber of old French kitchen tables and rat­tan chairs. The beamed ceil­ings and wood­en floors give it a light, airy feel with vin­tage Far­row and Ball colours and con­tem­po­rary works from the South East Kent art scene on the walls.

Out­doors

This place is a sun trap in sum­mer with lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun or shade under the per­ma­nent gaze­bo decked din­ing area. There’s a tin-roofed piz­za shack with wood-fired oven and out­side bar too.

There are five bed­rooms with ensuite bath­rooms on the first floor all dec­o­rat­ed in a coun­try house style with a hint of coastal Eng­land and local art­works on the walls.
On the sec­ond floor there are a fur­ther two ensuite bed­rooms and a pent­house apart­ment with two bed­rooms, gal­ley kitchen, lounge and bath­room. The lounge makes a great place for kids if grown-ups are stay­ing up a lit­tle later.
