Every room in Skendle­by Hall has its own char­ac­ter and each one is taste­ful­ly fur­nished to 5* stan­dard. This includes the beau­ti­ful large draw­ing room, which has many orig­i­nal fea­tures, 3 addi­tion­al recep­tion rooms, 2 kitchens, a large din­ing room seat­ing 26, a bil­liards room, 13 bed­rooms, 13 bath/​shower rooms and 2 sep­a­rate cloak­rooms. It is ide­al for fam­i­ly reunions, birth­day cel­e­bra­tions, cor­po­rate func­tions, small wed­ding par­ties or just a get togeth­er with your friends.

The Draw­ing Room

The draw­ing room is 31’x 20’ has a large peri­od fire­place and retains the orig­i­nal cov­ing, which is carved with Mason­ic emblems. Three large com­fy sofas and ele­gant win­dow seats make this an ide­al room for your cham­pagne reception.

The Music Room

This love­ly room has beau­ti­ful views and has a Yama­ha grand piano which is avail­able for your use.

The Library

This has win­dow seats and work­ing shut­ters. It is the Games Room” with a wide selec­tion of books, games and 2 cards table.

The Lounge

This large, attrac­tive room is the Media Room” and has state-of-the-art sur­round sound 50TV with Sky Plus, DVD, video and karaōke. A wide selec­tion of DVD’s, CD’s and videos are available.

Out­doors

The prop­er­ty itself occu­pies a seclud­ed posi­tion on the edge of the vil­lage. The grounds are a par­tic­u­lar fea­ture and are in excess of 2 acres. The Hall is approached via a long grav­el dri­ve­way lead­ing through pro­tect­ed wood­land to a turn­ing area and car­riage circle.

The gar­dens are prin­ci­pal­ly laid to lawn with stun­ning views across undu­lat­ing coun­try­side to the south west and over the ha-ha, and adja­cent to pas­ture­land with views of the Church to the north. Skendle­by Hall, Big House to Rent, Garden.

Skendle­by pro­vides a peace­ful and seclud­ed set­ting for hol­i­day­mak­ers search­ing some tran­quil­i­ty in today’s busy world.

There is a 5‑a-side foot­ball goal on the main lawn and a Jacques cro­quet set avail­able in the conservatory.
