Beautifully and thoughtfully designed seafront home in Beadnell on the stunning Northumberland coast. Portland sleeps up to 8 in 4 en-suite bedrooms with sea views, accepts one well behaved dog and has wi-fi. There is an enclosed rear garden, boot room, extremely well finished and equipped kitchen. The open-plan lounge/dining area has wood floors, the bedrooms are carpeted and the staircases are solid oak.

Beadnell itself has a small general store as well as 2 pubs/restaurants and is only 2 miles away from a variety of services in Seahouses and access to the Farne Islands by boat. Beadnell Bay with its small harbour and long, wide sandy beach is a popular place for diving and watersports, as well as long coastal walks, both to the north and south of the village. Further afield you are 25-minute drive from Alnwick Castle and Garden and 4 miles south of Bamburgh and its Castle. To the south, you can walk, hop a local bus or drive to the lovely bay at Embleton, visit the quirky Ship Inn with its microbrewery in the seaside square of Low Newton, or enjoy a trip to Craster famous for its Kippers.

Spacious modern property with stunning sea views both upstairs and down. Well equipped and furnished with a coastal theme and colour scheme.

Ground Floor:
• On entering the front door, you are straight into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Comfortable seating, classical New England style furnishings in nautical hues with “pops” of red from the bright white gloss kitchen.
• The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with everything you need to make a sandwich, a picnic or a special celebratory meal.
• Plenty of room to enjoy the great entertaining area, lovely dining space which opens out into the sunny, fully enclosed, rear garden. Here you’ll find a super alfresco area with table and chairs, barbecue and a storage chest with outdoor games equipment, buckets & spades, and beach gear.
• There is a large utility/boot room on the ground floor with washer, dryer, 2nd large fridge freezer, ice maker.

First Floor:
• Up the beautiful oak open tread staircase you will find, on the first floor 3 large bedrooms - 2 kingsize doubles and 1 twin - all are ensuite (2 shower rooms and one bathroom with shower over bath). The two doubles have sea views and one has a sea facing balcony.

Second Floor:
• Up a further oak & glass staircase, you enter the attic suite - a large room with vaulted ceiling - sea views, super king double bed which can be made a twin on request, huge walk-in wardrobe, and a separate shower room.
Flat screen TVs in every room.


To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed private south facing garden, laid to artificial grass, and borders with shrubs and small trees. There is good outside furniture with parasol, a barbecue and direct access through wide glazed fold back door into the house.

Beaches are an easy walk, and Beadnell Bay offers water sports enthusiasts the opportunity to bring their own equipment for sailing, skiing, paddle boarding, diving & swimming, kite surfing etc.

Sea fishing is available from both Beadnell & Seahouses.

Nearby Seahouses & Bamburgh both offer excellent 18-hole golf courses.

Horse riding is available in Seahouses and a little further inland at Swinhoe (Nr. Belford) and Kimmerston.

Tennis is catered for in Seahouses and Bamburgh.

26 Miles+ of beaches offer extraordinary walking opportunities, and inland in the Cheviot hills moorland and fell walks can be found.

Cycling is well catered for and Sustrans Route 1 passes close by.
