Num­ber One can be rent­ed sep­a­rate­ly to sleep 14 or with any com­bi­na­tion of the oth­er hous­es to bring your par­ty num­ber up to 67. CUM0407

Num­ber One is dec­o­rat­ed in an eclec­tic mix of his­toric build­ing meets bou­tique cot­tage and is quite exquis­ite. The lounge seats 14 on the bifggest Chester­field sofas you’ve ever seen. The din­ing room seats 20 and has a ​“hip hotel” feel with its own bar. The hand built oak coun­try kitchen is a joy to work in and has a 4 oven AGA with induc­tion hob.

Upsatirs there are 6 indi­vid­u­al­ly styled bed­rooms, 4 doubles/​king or super kings. 1 twin that can be a super king, and one bed­room with 4 sin­gles that can be pushed togeth­er to make super king size.

Out­side there’s patio that gets there evening sun. It’s equipped with a bar­be­cue and out­door fur­ni­ture for alfres­co dining.

Ground floor: Lounge with huge Chester­field sofas. Ele­gant din­ing room with table to seat 20 and bar. Hand built oak kitchen with 4 oven AGa and induc­tion hob. Util­i­ty room with wash­er and dryer. 

First floor: Bed­room 1 twin with beds that can be pushed togeth­er to cre­ate a super king, ensuite show­er room. Bed­room 2 spa­cious super king. Bed­room 3 cosy dou­ble. Bed­room 4 ​“the French room“king size. There is a sen­sa­tion­al fam­i­ly bath­room on this floor with wet room area and roll top bath.

Sec­ond floor: Bed­room 5 with 4 sin­gle beds that can be pushed togeth­er to cre­ate super kings. Bed­room 6 with king size bed, this bed­room can be linked with bed­room 5 to cre­ate a fam­i­ly suite. There is a wet room and a bath­room with show­er over bath on this floor.

Local Area

The Lake Dis­tric is Eng­lands adven­ture cap­i­tal. As you can imag­ine there are so may things to do all year round it’s dif­fi­cult to list. One of the high­lights is a 20 minute walk up to Orrest Head which can be under­tak­en from the door of any of our prop­er­ties. The view from the top is a view that Alfred Waigh­wright the famous Lake Dis­trict author said changed his life for­ev­er. Win­der­mere vil­lage is on your doorstep with a great choice of bars, cafes, restau­rants and inde­pen­dent shops. Booths super­mar­ket is only a few hun­dred meters away for all your local pro­duce. Both Sains­bury’s and Tesco deliv­er reg­u­lar­ly to The Ter­race. Win­der­mere rail­way sta­tion is so close that if you got in a taxi they would laugh!
