A lux­u­ry large house sleep­ing 14 in the Lake Dis­trict, with a pool table in the cel­lar and 7 seat hot tub in the rear courtyard.

Named after the small hill behind the house Alice Howe is a grade II peri­od prop­er­ty locat­ed on a pri­vate street of hol­i­day hous­es all avail­able to rent in the heart of Win­der­mere . Alice Howe sleeps 14 com­fort­ably in 7 bed­rooms, 5 of which have ensuite show­er rooms.

The prop­er­ty has a fan­tas­tic lounge with L‑shaped Chester­field sofas, a large din­ing room with seats for 14 and two kitchen areas, one for cook­ing and eat­ing with a large table and wood­en burn­ing stove and one for prep­ping and wash­ing up, with 2 dish­wash­ers. There is a pub style pool table in the cellar.

In the rear gar­den there is a 7 seat hot tub in an open-front­ed build­ing. out­door fur­ni­ture and barbecue.

Alice Howe Ground floor: The large lounge has huge leather Chester­field sofas an open fire and a large flat screen TV. The din­ing room has a love­ly oak table per­fect for enter­tain­ing a group of 14. The room has an open fire sur­round­ed by a Pug­in designed fire­place sim­i­lar to the one he designed for West­min­ster Palace. It is also equipped with a Bose Com­pan­ion 3 sound sys­tem to plug your phone, tablet or lap­top into. All our bed­rooms have TVs, we pro­vide fluffy tow­els and crisp white linen. First floor: Bed­room 1. Dou­ble with ensuite show­er and toi­let. Bed­room 2. Twin with ensuite show­er room and toi­let. Bed­room 3. Twin with ensuite show­er room and toi­let. Bath­room with bath and toi­let. Bed­room 4. Twin bunkroom with sink. Sec­ond floor: Bed­room 5: Twin with ensuite show­er and toi­let. Bed­room 6: Dou­ble with ensuite show­er room and toi­let. Out­doors

The rear walled court­yard enjoys a view to Orrest Head where Alfred Wain­wright took his first view of the lake Dis­trict. The court­yard fea­tures a 7 seat hot tub in an open front­ed build­ing a large out­door fur­ni­ture set per­fect for din­ing alfres­co and its sur­round­ing walls mean that it is usu­al­ly pro­tect­ed from the wind.
