Hastings House has been developed with holidaymakers in mind, offering 5 bedrooms, all of which can be super king size doubles or twins, providing very flexible accommodation for families or groups wishing to stay together. There are also 5 bathrooms - 3 en-suites, and 2 family bathrooms, meaning that all 5 bedrooms have their own facilities. 3 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and 2 on the first.

The ground floor also has a large kitchen/dining area with patio doors leading out to the large deck with 6 person cedar hot tub. The first floor has the spacious sitting room with large windows affording open views over the fields towards the sea.

Special Features

All bedrooms have use of a shower or bathroom each. Property boasts a cedar Hot Tub on deck.

Indoors

Hastings House has a large kitchen with catering size pans, and the crockery etc can be increased when there is a joint booking. The large lounge area can accommodate everyone; there are 2 sky tv’s (wall mounted), CD player DVD, Playstation and the games room in the garage.

Outdoors

Private enclosed courtyard, decorated with bedding plants or pots, tables and chairs and barbecue, laid to a combination of flags, stone flags and gravel. Wheelchair access available. Hastings House has the hot tub, and a huge outside chess set.

Local Area

North Sunderland is a quiet inland extension to the village of Seahouses on the North Northumberland Coast. The house is within an easy walk of shops, traditional butcher, baker and co-op supermarket, plus a number of specialist shops and tourist amenities. The area is well served for the outdoor enthusiast, Riding stables are just across the lane, the busy Harbour provides boat launch facilities and for the nature enthusiast boats depart here for the Farne Islands Bird and Seal sanctuary. Golfers have choice of two 18 hole courses within 3 miles. and several more a short car journey away. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are 15 miles south, the beautiful beaches stretch south to Dunstanburgh and beyond, and North to the wonderful Castle at Bamburgh (3 miles) and up to Holy Island of Lindisfarne (15 miles).
