Local Area

Seahouses with its harbour and small fleet of fishing boats, offers trips to the Farne Islands on its smaller craft. It also has a variety of small shops and various eating outlets. The Ocean Club has a members only gym and pool and guests staying at Beach Plaice can use these facilities for a small fee.

The area has miles of glorious sandy dog friendly beaches, historic castles, golf courses and wonderful walks. Visit Beadnell for watersports, Bamburgh for its Castle, Lindisfarne with its Priory and Castle.
