FAQs

What type of properties are on the website?

The range of properties on our database is increasing constantly. These vary in size, location and type, from villas, manor houses, castles and chateaux. We're sure that whatever your requirements you will be able to find the perfect property.

How do I search for a property?

There are several ways that you can search using our easy to navigate site.

  • Use the search box on the top right hand side of every page of the site. You can enter the region you're interested in, the number of people the property sleeps or, if you know it, the property reference code.
  • If you know where you want to go simply click on the regions link on the navigation bar. This will take you to a list of regions and then on to a map.
  • If you are looking for a particular type of property you may click the categories link in the navigation bar.

If you are having trouble finding a suitable property we can do the searching for you. Just email your requirements to us using the "Find One For Me" form and we'll do the rest!

What information is provided on each property?

Each property page is laid out clearly and easy to read. Comprehensive details include full descriptions of house, location, facilities and surrounding area along with a slideshow of lovely large photos. You will also find an availability calendar or a link to current availability, rental prices and contact details. If there's anything you still need to know, you can contact the owner directly for more information!

I've found a property I like, how do I contact the owner?

Click the "Contact The Owner" button on each property page then fill in the email form with your details and enquiry. Remember by dealing directly with the owner you can ask any questions and find out far more information than you ever could by dealing with an agency.

How do I make a booking?

You make your booking direct with property owner either by email, phone or post (whichever you both prefer). Bookings vary from owner to owner but generally you will be asked to pay a deposit, usually around 10-25% to confirm your reservation and complete a booking form. Full payment is usually required 8-10 weeks before the start of your holiday.

We strongly recommend that you take out adequate holiday insurance.

What happens after I have paid for my holiday?

Once you have paid for your holiday rental in full, you will receive a confirmation of the reservation and receive arrival details and directions to the property.
