Viney Hill Country House is a delightful period property dating back to 1741, which has recently been renovated and extended. Set in approximately an acre of lawns and gardens, the house overlooks the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside and lies adjacent to the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean. For a peaceful country location, with numerous walks and the popular cycle trails, plus the many Interesting places and attractions, well within easy travelling distance, look no further.

The kitchen/diner is open plan, the kitchen area has an oven range with two large Electric Ovens, 6 ring Hob, microwave, dishwasher and a small kitchen table. The table in the dining area is designed to seat 16 people comfortably for a celebratory meal. Just down the corridor is a large games room with pool table and table football, board games and TV. Opposite this is the library, perfect for relaxing with a drink and a good book. Utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer and a WC in the hall. Just off the hall is the very large living room with a woodburning stove, very large flatscreen TV. French doors lead out onto the patio and into the covered pool. A staircase leads to the first and second floor where you will find 7 en-suite bedrooms and an extra bedroom for 1 with its own bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms have both double and single beds.

Ideally located for the many attractions of the Forest of Dean, with easy access to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol, Newport and Cardiff. An ideal location for Activity holidays, cycling, walking and nature enthusiasts. The views at Symonds Yat and the River Wye are less than 20 minutes away, and the famous Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail is even closer at about 10 minutes drive. The surrounding forest area offers many different local attractions, including the Dean Forest Railway, Go Ape, (High Wire Forest Adventure), Perrygrove Railway, Clearwell Caves, Hopewell Mine, and the Heritage Centre. Other places easily reached include The National Bird of Prey Centre at Newent, Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, Prinknash Abbey - Bird and Deer Park, and the popular Welsh mine - Big Pit is only an hours drive. Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and West Midland Safari Park are also within commutable distance.
