The Shake­speare Lodge is locat­ed at Arden Hill Farm with­in easy reach of Strat­ford-upon-Avon and the his­toric mar­ket town of Hen­ley-in-Arden, easy access to the motor­way network.

Lounge

A large coun­try Lodge ide­al­ly suit­ed for groups in a select pri­vate devel­op­ment, offered exclu­sive­ly to your group for your select­ed date, full use of Jacuzzi hot tub. A stun­ning prop­er­ty with 7 spa­cious bed­rooms and 4 bath­rooms no inter­con­nect­ing doors giv­ing max­i­mum enter­tain­ing space, all rooms are dec­o­rat­ed and co-ordi­nate to the high­est level.

Din­ing Table

The Lodge is sit­u­at­ed in an ele­vat­ed posi­tion over­look­ing exten­sive and stun­ning coun­try­side, with views extend­ing as far as the Malvern Hills. Just 3 miles north of Strat­ford and close to sev­er­al Shake­speare sites, includ­ing Mary Arden’s house, 1 mile, and the world renowned RSC. In Strat­ford itself guid­ed bus tours take vis­i­tors around the town, and boat trips on the riv­er are pop­u­lar for sightseeing.

Hot Tub Golf, horse rid­ing and glid­ing are all avail­able locally.

A vis­it to the his­toric coun­ty town of War­wick should not be missed with its mag­nif­i­cent medieval cas­tle, and Kenil­worth Cas­tle is only a few miles further.

There are many fine gar­dens and state­ly homes with Nation­al Trust prop­er­ties includ­ing Coughton Court and Charlecote Park, which are with­in half an hour’s dri­ve. Local pubs, inns and restau­rants offer meals of high rec­om­men­da­tion to suit all tastes.

There are a num­ber of won­der­ful walks around the dis­trict and superb shop­ping facil­i­ties, includ­ing antiques, crafts and mar­ket places. The beau­ti­ful Cotswold vil­lages and his­toric cities of Oxford, Worces­ter and Coven­try are all with­in easy reach.

The Nation­al Exhi­bi­tion Cen­tre, the Sym­pho­ny Hall and the Nation­al Indoor Are­na are 40 min­utes away by car, as is the Nation­al Agri­cul­tur­al Cen­tre and Roy­al Show­ground at Stoneleigh with its famous July agri­cul­tur­al fair. Clos­est pub/​restaurant is 500 yards.

Guid­ed bus tours and boat trips on the riv­er Avon are very pop­u­lar, as are the spe­cial­ist and antique shops. For Shake­speare enthu­si­asts there are 5 his­toric prop­er­ties to vis­it. His­toric War­wick with its famous cas­tle and the beau­ti­ful Cotswolds vil­lages are only a short dri­ve away.
