Downstairs, the house boasts a superb oak-panelled drawing room, a dining room that seats 22, a well-appointed kitchen leading into the breakfast room, a morning room, a games room and two cloakrooms. Most of the reception rooms are linked to a central sound system and internet access is available throughout the house. Upstairs, the accommodation comprises 10 spacious bedrooms, all doubles or twins, plus nine bathrooms finished to the highest specification. The house will sleep 20 people comfortably, with up to 4 additional children in z-beds and cots.

The Grange is located on a south facing hillside on the edge of the pretty village of Bourton and is within easy walking distance of the excellent local pub and village shop. The extensive grounds include beautiful, mature gardens, an ornamental pond, a croquet lawn, a tennis court and a lake with its own island. Pool, table tennis and garden games are available on-site and clay shooting, horse riding and golf can all be arranged close by.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Dorset/Somerset/Wiltshire borders. Local attractions include Wincanton Racecourse, the historic towns of Sherborne (with its Abbey) and Shaftesbury (Gold Hill of Hovis advert fame), Stourhead Gardens, Haynes Motor Museum, Fleet Air/Arms Museum, Stonehenge, Poole Harbour and Glastonbury Tor. It's about an hour's drive to the gorgeous beaches of Dorset's south coast (Poole, Weymouth, Lyme Regis etc).
