There are five bedrooms, several with fantastic views, a sumptuous dining room and a wonderfully appointed drawing room. Outside, as part of the stables (you are welcome to bring your own horses), there is a games room and during the summer months a grass tennis court. There is much to do in the local area, and indeed to walk over the seventy acres where peace and quiet abound is truly breathtaking. Whatever the season, enjoy the tranquillity of this remarkable house, wander through the orchard and the meadow down to the lake, try a little fishing (rods provided) or escape to the timber hut and observe the abundance of fauna and flora that this location offers. Enjoy a game of tennis on the grass court or cook up a barbeque, the choice is entirely yours. Later sit by the wood burning stove in the drawing room and reminisce over the day’s events at dinner in the elegant dining room with antique dining table. A truly exceptional house retaining so much character and yet equipped with modern comforts and facilities.

A wealth of Devonshire and Cornish coastline awaits you, excellent surf, sandy beaches and rugged coastline - Westward Ho! and further north Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe or travel south to Bude and Widemouth Bay. Watersports at Tamar Lakes, romantically historical King Arthurs castle at Tintagel, Hawkers Hut at Morwenstow, the cobbled streets at Clovelly and more, too numerous too mention. Quaint villages and market towns all within easy reach. Traditional pubs offering quality cuisine reared and harvested in this area of richly productive land and sea.
