The attractive, well-equipped and spacious accommodation with versatile bedrooms comprises: Very large kitchen/diner complete with beautiful hand crafted oak furniture and oak flooring throughout, with a large range oven, coupled with all modern appliances, microwave, dishwasher and an American fridge/freezer with ice making facilities. Next to the kitchen is a games room with TV, air hockey/table football and lots of game. A lovely light airy hallway leads to a double bedroom with a 5ft bed and an en-suite shower-room/WC. There is also a separate WC on this floor. Opposite is the living room with oak flooring, an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. Another bedroom can be found on this floor with a zip and link bed which can be used as either a twin or a large double. There is a large utility/boot room with washing machine. First floor: Two double bedrooms, each with 5ft bed and en-suite shower room/W.C. Two twin-bedded rooms, one of which has the adaptable zip & link beds. Bathroom/W.C. with shower cubicle.

The large garden offers privacy and has a patio with furniture and a barbecue. There is also a children's play area including a trampoline. There is a small fish pond within the grounds with a large stream adjacent to the garden therefore, please be very cautious with young children.

The local area

Hemyock is located near the Devon/Somerset border, just south of Wellington and on the Blackdown Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Blackdowns have many delightful footpaths, bridleways, lanes and tracks, providing superb country walking, cycling and horse riding, quaint villages with local pubs for wining and dining and a variety of attractions to enjoy ranging from go-karting, ballooning and gliding to golf and fishing. Situated within easy driving distance of the M5, there is a diverse range of attractions to visit, such as Killerton House and Gardens, the cathedral city of Exeter, Diggerland, Crealey Adventure Park and Forde Abbey and Gardens. Alternatively a day out exploring the East Devon Heritage Coastal resorts from the picturesque Lyme Regis to Exmouth, is easily accessible. The famous lace and antique town of Honiton is also well worth a visit. Pubs 1/2 mile.
