Past experience has shown us that happy children make for happy and relaxed parents. In our house children wil be kept busy with a great selection of toys, books, games, DVDs and a PS2 console. A separate barn with table tennis, air hockey, table football and pool tables will ensure that no-one ever has an excuse for being bored. While the children are having fun there is plenty to occupy the adults. Laze in the squishy sofas around the woodburning stove. Enjoy a leisurely lunch on the sunny terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds and dovecote. Sip a glass of wine in one of the cosy secluded spots in the garden. Enjoy a lie-in in a 4-poster bed with luxury cotton bedding and goose-down duvet and pillows.

The Manor House is situated in the centre of a very peaceful village and has near neighbours. As such it is not a suitable locationfor loud parties and/or amplified music but perfect for relaxing and enjoying this quintessentially English village. The village itself offers a 14th century Parish church, 2 pubs and a tea room. Around a mile from the house lies Burton Court, which has a history dating back to the Domesday Book. Here you will find an extensive collection of European and continental costumes. Burton Court is licensed for weddings and would be happy to discuss your needs with you.

Eardisland is part of the Black and White Trail, which was developed to encourage visitors to take a closer look at the beautiful countryside between Leominster and Kington in the north-west of Herefordshire. The trail is characerised by the large number of black and white timered and half-timbered houses in the area - some dating from medieval times. The Manor house is 5 miles from Leominster, 15 miles north of Hereford and around 10 miles from the Welsh and Shropshire borders. Take a walk along Ofa's Dyke, or the beautiful banks of the River Arrow. Spend a day shopping in Hay-on-Wye, Shrewsbury or Worcester. See Mappa Mundi at Hereford Cathedral, the houses and castles at Ludlow and Stokesay, or wander around the charming village of Weobley. Whatever your preference, the Manor House is an ideal place to relax or use as a base to explore the surrounding areas.
