Le Domaine de la Cadenède in Millau is a very good place to invite your family or your friends during one week or one week-end, to celebrate a birthday or to make a family reunion or a sport training. A lovely place in front of the Millau viaduct, La Cadenède is a beautiful fortified residence of the period of the Templars, magnificently renovated with bow windows showing on a court, dovecote from 1289, exterior bread oven. This historical property will seduce you by its convivial character, its quietness, the beauty of the stones and by the many leisure activities you can enjoy on the spot and all around it, in Sud-Aveyron, belonging to sports, culture or nature.

Our house in open all year long and can accept 25 persons : 12 bedrooms all with a personal touch, 7 bathrooms, 3 warm living rooms (2 of them with fireplace), wide dining room in a vaulted stable, 4 kitchens, one of them is a summer kitchen with barbecue near the pool.

Many leisure activities on the spot : swimming pool 14 x 7 m, secured, enclosed by a huge paved terrace 180 m² with deck chairs, volley ball field, petanque (iron bowls) field, 12 mountainbikes, fitness room, table tennis, table soccer, billiard, piano, TV and video set, hifi set, chess set and other games, library, free wifi access… All this inside our 2,5 hectares park, equipped with lightening and sound system for your open-air evening.

Millau is a lovely town. It was famous because it is near Gorges du Tarn and because of its gloves leather industry. Now it is famous because of its fantastic Millau viaduct designed by Lord Norman Foster ! Situated inside the Parc Naturel Régional des Grands Causses, our house is a good place to enjoy a lot of leisure activities : Brocuejouls roman chapel, Peyre village belonging to the "Plus beaux villages de France" and its cave dwelling church, Gorges du Tarn, Roquefort cheese caves, Templar and Hospitaller villages on Larzac area. For sports lovers and people who like thrills : paragliding, canyoning, rock climbing, via ferrata, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking await you.
